Rogil is part of the Aljezur municipality and close to the Atlantic coast, providing good temperatures throughout whole year. There are few frost days in the winter and few hot temperatures (above 30º) during the summer. The farm is located among other large flower producing companies, which are growing all kind of greens, Leucadendron, Proteas, Leucospermum and Bamboos.

Rogil is well located for exports. There are many transport companies going to Holland and Great Britain twice a week assuring constant delivery to the main markets. We have 1,80 hectares of shadehouses planted mostly with leatherleaf and in smaller amounts with Ruscus. We are also introducing new kinds of greens which are not yet in production. Apart from the shadehouse, we also have greenhouses planted with aspidistras, Aralias, Phil. Xanadu and Falcatum.
